No. of Vacancy: 03 Nos. ( One reserved for ST candidate).

Educational Qualification (Essential) : - 

i) A degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture, or a second class Master's Degree in Economics/ Geography from a recognized University/ Institute or equivalent.

ii) A post-graduate degree or diploma in Urban/Town and Regional Country Planning.

Experience:  One year's experience in Urban and Regional Planning.

N.B. - Ability to Read, Write and Speak in Bengali is an essential qualification for recruitment to the post and service mentioned above. Providing that the said compulsory requirement of knowledge in Bengali including the ability to read write and speak in Bengali for Recruitment to the following post, shall not be applicable to those candidates whose mother tongue is nepali. This will be tested at the time of interview.

N.B. Qualifications relaxable at the discretion of the Commission for otherwise well-qualified and experienced candidates.

AGE Limit : Note more than 36 (thirty six) years as on 01.01.2019, relaxable for otherwise well-qualified and experienced candidates.

Pay: Rs. 15,600 -  Rs. 42,000/-  (PB-4), Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-

Upper age Relaxation : Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and up to the age of 45 years for PWD Category.

Application Fee:  Rs. 210/- only.

Candidates may in addition have to bear the following charges:

i) For online payment through debit/ credit cards : Convenience fee @1% of the examination fee subject to a minimum of Rs. 5/- only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee.

ii) For online payment using net banking facility: Convenience fee of Rs. 5/- only plus 18% G.S.T. on such convenience fee.

iii) For offline payment through Bank Counter : Service Charge of Rs. 20/- only

        SC/ST candidates  of West Bengal and persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having disability of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay usual fee as aforesaid. No Exemption of fee is available to SC/ST candidates of other States. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
