Recruitment examination, 2020 for the post of Teacher (English) Teacher (Hindi) and Teacher (Urdu) under Kolkata Municipal Corporation.


         Online applications are invited through official website www.mscwb.org from the citizens of India for recruitment to the post of Teacher (English) Teacher (Hindi) and Teacher (Urdu) under Kolkata Municipal Corporation on and from 11.03.2020

1) Name of the Post: Teacher (English).

    Number of vacancy : 149

2) Name of the Post: Teacher (Hindi).

3) Name of the Post: Teacher (Urdu).

    Number of vacancy : 33

Educational qualification :

Essential : The candidates shall proposes the following minimum educational qualification -

1) Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education duly approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or

2) Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or

3) Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in education (Special Education) or

4) Graduation and 2 years diploma in elementary education by whatever name known.

5) in case of recruitment of Teacher (English), a candidate should have English as first language all along till Higher Secondary or its equivalent or Honours in English or M.A. in English.

Note: The candidate must be Teacher Ability Test (TET) qualified  (State/Central) only.

Scale of pay and grade pay: Pay level 6 of the pay matrix of ROPA 2019.

Age as on 01.01.2020 : 18 to 40 years


      Age : Lower and upper age limit are 18 years and 40 years respectively as on 1st January 2020. Upper age relaxation up to 5 years is admissible only to SC and ST candidates and up to 3 years to OBC candidates of West Bengal.
       Upper age limit for recruitment of physically challenged person to State Government Services and posts shall be 45 years.

Both men and women are eligible for the above posts.


Application fee : 

      1) Application fee for U.R. and OBC candidates is Rs. 150/- plus processing charges Rs.50/-  plus Rs.20/- towards Bank charges for challan deposit.

     2)  For SC, ST and PH candidates only processing charges Rs.50/- plus Rs.20/- towards Bank charges for challan deposit
                     
         The application fees plus processing charges as mentioned in para's 1 and 2 above shall be collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India and the same to be deposited to account number 0088010367936 through challan generated after submission of online application at official website www.mscwb.org

Last date: Last date for registration for online application and generation of challan is 15.04.2020 and application fee along with processing charges must be deposited to the Bank by 16.04.2020 and the process of submission of application must be completed by 17.04.2020.
