GROUP- 'C' & GROUP- 'D' JOBS IN EASTERN RAILWAY, KOLKATA 

Notification No. RRC/ER/Scouts & Guides Quota/2019-20.

Job Details : Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell invites online application for 10 posts of Group-'C' and Group-'D' category posts against Scouts and Guides Quota of Eastern Railway for the year 2019-20. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell. 

Last Date of online Application:- 11.12.2019

1. Group- 'C' - No. of Posts 02 Nos. (Head Quarter).

Educational qualification : Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate, from recognized education Board.

Note: 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, ESM and PWD candidates and candidates having higher qualification from Recognized University

OR

ii) 10th pass from recognized Board plus act. apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT (Diploma in Engineering is not considered as an alternative higher qualification).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.01.2020.

2. Group- 'D'- No. of Posts 08 Nos. 

Educational Qualification: i) 10th pass from recognized Board.

OR

ii) 10th pass from recognized Board plus ITI/Act. apprenticeship 05 ye

Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01.01.2020.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. For PWD, Ex-Serviceman & Other, if any as per Govt. norms.

SCOUTS AND GUIDES QUALIFICATION:

In addition to essential qualifications mentioned above, the following scouting and Guiding qualification will be applicable for both the above Posts:

i) President's Scout/Guide/Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB)holder in any section.

ii) Should have been an active member of a Scout Organisation for the last 05 years.

iii) Should have attended two events at National level or All Indian Railways' level and two events at State Level.

Note: The candidates having no Scouts and Guides Qualifications need not apply.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 500/-( Rs. 250/- for SC,ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes). Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online application from by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment cell https://er.indianrailways.gov.in/ (See Application forms link given below) from dated 12/11/2019 (10 AM) to 11/12/2019 (6.30 PM). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. Do not send any print-out/ Hard copy or Documents to Eastern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell at this stage. All the verification will be done in due course.
