Name of the Post:  Motor Vehicles Inspector (Non-Technical).

Total number of posts:  19 Nos. (05 reserved for SC, 02 for OBC-B (non creamy layer) and 01 each reserved for OBC - A (non creamy layer) Meritorious sportsperson and ST.

Educational qualification:-

A) Essential: Must have Bachelor's Degree of a recognised University.

B) Must have the minimum physical standard as mentioned below :-

Category 1):-  Candidates of all categories (except Gorkha, Garwali, Rajbangshi and other Hill Tribes/ Schedule Tribes) :-
                                 Height- 170 cms, Chest- 86 cms. with expansion of 5 cms.
                            Weight - Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard.

Category 2):-  Gorkha, Garwali, Rajbangshi and other Hill Tribes/Scheduled Tribes candidates :-

                                Height -160 cms., Chest- 81 cms with expension of 5 cms.,
                         Weight - Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard

Pay scale :- Rs.7,100 - Rs. 37,600/- (P.B.-3) plus Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/-  and other allowances.

Age :-  Age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 39 years on the 01.01.2019.

Upper age relaxation:- upper age limit Shall be  relaxable in respect of candidates belongs to the schedule caste for the scheduled tribes on the other backward classes group A or group B or other reserved category if any as per the extent rules of the government

Exam fee :- Rs.160/-  candidates may in addition have to bear the following charges

        Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card/ Net Banking or can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment challan. Fee challan can be downloaded from the official website of West Bengal Public Service Commission.

Candidates belonging to SC and ST recognised in West Bengal and Persons with Disability (PWD) having physical disability of 40% and above and not required to pay any fee.
